Paisley Earrings -- Black
I'd been wanting to do something with paisley for a while, but I was kinda stumped until I found these cabochons. They are molded black glass, made in occupied Japan, and feature highly dimensional flowers and leaves. I've set them in a serrated bezel and surrounded them with a border of beaded wire. The backing features a hand cut scalloped border. I've oxidized these sterling beauties and buffed them a bit to show off those scallops.
The paisleys are 1 1/8" (2.8cm) long and 3/4" (1.8cm) wide. They each hang from a sterling silver earwire for a total length just shy of 1 3/4" (4.3cm) They're a bit on the heavier side as far as earrings go, but they're still very wearable. Each earring is signed, dated, and marked "925" for sterling silver.
The earrings will arrive all boxed up and ready for gift giving (or gift keeping). The last photo shows my packaging; those earrings not included of course.
